We’re just back from our first day at the CTV studios, where our head toy buyer Jon Levy (also a co-owner of Mastermind Toys) was on Canada AM to demo some of our great summer toys!

The whole experience was amazing… the segment was a lot of fun and Jon and Beverly goofed around a bunch with the toys.

The highlight for us was definitely the behind-the-scenes fun… you have no idea how excited a studio full of TV people can get when hot summer toys are thrown in the mix. Between segments (Jon also closed out the show with the Canada AM team) Bervely, Seamus, Jeff, and the camera and crew people were ALL playing with toys… the biggest hit was the Ripstik, which is like a skateboard, except that your feet never touch the ground. The Ripstik design propels it forward as you undulate your hips (to see it in action, watch our video on the subject at the end of this post). One of the camera guys in particular was actually really good at it; he had it right off the bat and was ripping around the set! The show even ended with Jeff jumping on the Ripstik. Great stuff.
